On 10.06.22 the organising team contacted the board of the German Cyclists' Federation. It was asked to mediate in the matter. There is currently no information on the state of negotiations. According to the BDR, it is "all about sensitivities". The BDR supports the organisation of the 28th International Kids Tour.

The organizing team continues to assume that the tour will take place as planned from 08/26/22 to 08/28/22 takes place on the 4th stages.
