The International kids-tour Berlin 2025 is on track in terms of organisation, stage guidance is in place, agreements with the districts have been finalised - only the official announcement on rad-net has not yet been published. What this means and what happens next.

With a clear view towards August, the International kids-tour Berlin 2025 is moving into the next phase of realisation. From 21 to 24 August, the traditional tour for young talent will once again bring children from all over Europe to Berlin - and it will do so with structure, international aspirations and political relevance.

The 4 days have been prepared in detail: from the prologue on the Straße des 17. Juni to the individual time trial in Lehnitz, the circuit race in the Berlin districts of Marzahn-Hellersdorf and the final circuit through the City West, on the legendary Ku'damm. The route was agreed with the Berlin and Brandenburg authorities, alternatives were examined and conditions were calculated.

"When all that's missing is the click in the calendar"

However, one formal hurdle has not yet been overcome: The official announcement of the Kids Tour 2025 has not yet been published on the association platform rad-net.de. This is due neither to a lack of content nor a lack of planning, but to an ongoing coordination process - with the Berlin Cycling Federation (BRV). Publication on rad-net requires formal confirmation by the regional association and entry in the national calendar. Both are still pending.

Preparations continue

Meanwhile, preparations are continuing at all other levels: security concepts, logistics, hotel and accommodation and the integration of tourism concepts of the Berlin districts for our PR work as well as the technical implementation of the livestream, social media and event management, among other things. More on this later!

Conclusion: The kids-tour 2025 will be legendary!

In 2025, the kids tour will top everything that has gone before! With a lot of support, sponsors and our tireless efforts, we are bringing back the best junior race in the world. Berlin - be ready! 🚴🔥
